A specific type of Turing model was applied to simulate the formation of the patterns on lady beetles' hard wings. A portion of a spherical surface was used to approximate the shape of the hard wings of lady beetles. The generic form of the turing model consisted of two types of morphogen interaction between them. The diffusion of two interacting morphogens was solved numerically on a surface of constant curvature. It was found that various patterns common to lady beetles can be produced on curved surface by adjusting the parameters of the model.
