摘要

The process of modifying, refining, and validating the cognitive modeling system was described. A prototype of a web-based cognitive modeling system was designed to scaffold novice instructional designers to solve instructional design problems. The system contains a case library that provides a number of real-world cases of various settings in instructional design, including K-12, higher education, schools, government, cooperation, industry, and military. It is expected that the evaluation can lead to the design of a system shell that can be adapted to support problem-solving performance in a variety of content domains.
