In this study, common threads were used to conduct a finite element analysis construction of a 6061 aluminum alloy thread turning simulation. Turning the screw speed changes planned as cutting process parameters, the cutting conditions combinations of three groups. Thread turning chip formation was analyzed under conditions such as effective stress, effective strain, cutting temperature, and thread turning abrasion changes. The thread turning machining parameters affect the interaction between the roles of impact between the parameters can be based on improving the structural design of thread cutting tools. The results show that (1) the temperature of the tip region increased rapidly with processing time, and that tool cutting fluid should be added to prevent overheating; (2) the cumulative wear depth of abrasion is in the thread cutter tip portion; (3) the maximum effective strain in contact with the tool surface; and (4) the maximum effective stress concentrated in the contact region of thread cutter tip and the workpiece, thread chip due to contact with the bottom of the tool stress caused by the bending phenomenon.
