Luminescence, structural and ferromagnetic properties of Zn 1-xMnxSy films for different manganese contents

摘要

This study investigates the effect of Mn content on the structural, luminescence and ferromagnetic properties of the sol-gel Zn1- xMnxSy films by X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoluminescence (PL), energy dispersive spectrometer and alternating gradient magnetometer measurements (AGM). Dependences of optical properties and crystal structure upon Mn content were found. In addition, combining with PL, XRD and AGM results, a direct link between the magnetization and defects of Zn 1-xMnxSy films was established.
