N2 - The concurrent validity of the Occupational Aptitude Survey and Interest Schedule (OASIS) was investigated by correlating OASIS Aptitude Survey scores with General Aptitude Test Battery (GATB) scores for a sample of 59 rehabilitation clients referred for psychological evaluation. Canonical correlation analysis revealed four significant canonical variates and canonical correlations of 90, 76, 61, and 57. Zero-order correlations between the OASIS aptitude subtests and similar GATB subtests ranged from 68-84. These results suggest that the concurrent validities of the OASIS scores with the GATB are generally acceptably high.
