N2 - A frequency reconfigurable four-way power divider with the sequential phase outputs of 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270° is proposed. The divider is composed of three compact couplers, including dual quasi-lumped quadrature couplers and one reduced-size branch-line hybrid coupler; in addition, several varactor diodes are involved in the designs of the couplers. By controlling the reverse voltages of the varactors, the operation frequency of the power divider can be reconfigured, and the four outputs have the same amplitude and the sequential phase differences of 90° at each operation frequency. A prototype of the proposed power divider is implemented, and the measured results show that its operating bandwidth is more than 40 % by frequency switching, and within the bandwidth, the maximum amplitude balance and phase balance are 0.5 dB and 7°, respectively.
