Applying interactive technology to art exhibitions in the museums

摘要

Museum spaces nowadays are increasingly enhanced with digital technology. The design of exhibition and the way to make museum display more enjoyable are important for the museums. Nevertheless, researches regarding the application of interactive technology to exhibitions in museums are rare. This research adopted modified Interactive Qualitative Analysis method (m-IQA) to clarify the status and problems in Taiwan and tried to understand the perceptions of museum curators and interactive design experts about the problems of applying interactive technology to art exhibitions in the museums as well. This research integrated the opinions from experts and concluded nine design principles for applying interactive technology and human-computer interaction to art exhibitions in the museums in order to provide references to museum authorities and designers of exhibitions for preparing exhibitions by using interactive technologies and human-computer interaction in the museums.
