This paper reveals a novel and high efficient dynamic temperature measurement with a proposed multi-temperature compensation technique, which measures the temperature of thermal object against the ambient temperature change with a fast warm-up time. An infrared radiation measurement circuit was built to investigate the thermal behavior of infrared radiation exchanges between the target, sensor and the optical path with temperature monitoring. A fast temperature measurement scheme with dynamic compensation is proposed which is based on the exchange of infrared radiation between the infrared sensor and the environment. After calibrations and careful verification, our model shows an excellent agreement with the measuring data, which reduce the conventional measuring time for waiting the thermal equilibrium from 40 min dramatically down to 2 min with temperature error within 0.2 °C. Our proposed infrared radiation compensation scheme reveals a superior performance for most of industrial and medical applications.
