N2 - We fabricate a silica nanoparticle-doped twisted pi cell. With AC high voltage, the LCs near the substrates are distorted and create a lifting force, which accumulates the silica nanoparticles on the substrate. After turning off the AC voltage, the accumulated nanoparticles support the LCs in the twisted pi state.
