Research on the prediction of State-of-Health (SOH) of starting-up battery of diesel engine

Abstract

This article is about the prediction of State of Health (SOH) of starting-up battery of diesel engine. It is mainly by means of the analysis of the correlation between AC impedance and voltage of the starting-up battery of the diesel engine. HUASU H3G-TA battery monitoring system is used to acquire data of AC impedance and battery voltage at 100% and 50% discharging status of State of Health (SOH). With the data base, linear regression method is used to predict the State of Health (SOH) of the starting-up battery of diesel engine. YUASA NP7-12 lead-acid battery is used in this experiment. In the end, 3.17548%-3.36106% deviations between the actual measured SOH data and the predicted values from the linear regression can be found and compared.
