This paper aims at the synthesis of the target legs, or so-called the target waypoints, of mission planning systems for tactical flights. The mission planning system provides precise positions and attitudes of the air vehicle for releasing a bomb with an adequate trajectory that can hit the designate target. The target waypoint consists of two major stages delivery and escape. The target waypoints with dive mode for delivery and level-turn-safe-escape (LTSE) mode for escape are studied in this paper. This paper also analyzes the necessary flight parameters of bombs and air vehicles with target waypoints such as time, position, speed, acceleration, attitude, range of the vehicle, etc. Furthermore, a program of 3D animation will demonstrate and verify the results of this synthesis.
