Abstract
The article discusses the magnetization configurations in microstructured permalloy networks. Permalloy networks having 2,3,4 and 6 arms were fabricated using electron beam lithography through a standard lift-off technique. It was shown that in conjunction with suitable magnetic field detection technique multiple magnetic storage states can be achieved in the six-armed, or above, junctions, which may lead to a potential application in ultrahigh density of data storage.
