Abstract

When processing multiple quality characteristics out of control, control charts are not effective tools for root cause analysis, but control chart patterns can provide hints on assignable cause, and in this research, we use a fuzzy inference system based on Hotelling's T2 control chart to accelerate root cause analysis.
