Abstract
An optical fiber sensing system with interconnection in volume holograms, through random phase encoding, was described. The random phase was generated from the speckles of a multi-mode fiber. The sensitivity can be improved by adding the number of fibers for perturbation and the signal to noise ratio can be increased by using information of the speckles.
