Abstract
Scores of 110 traumatically brain-injured subjects who enter a transitional living facility are used to validate the factorial structure of the Change Assessment Questionnaire (CAQ). Results support that the CAQ is a valid instrument for measuring readiness to change among TBI individuals. Discussions of the CAQ's component structure are provided along with possible clinical and research implications for head injury rehabilitation.
