Abstract

In this work, the magnetic resonance (MR) of Fe 3 O 4 , ZnFe 2 O 4 , and NiFe 2 O 4 is measured in order to investigate the doping effects of Zn and Ni. Our results clearly demonstrate a distinct difference in the dynamic behaviors of resonance field and resonance linewidth among these three samples. Based on the data of g-factor vs. temperature, the magnetic coupling in Fe 3 O 4 and NiFe 2 O 4 is much larger than that of ZnFe 2 O 4 . Furthermore, the MR spectrum of ZnFe 2 O 4 splits into two lines above 170 K. The possible mechanism causing the dramatically different patterns of magnetic phases in these samples is discussed.
