Abstract
The use of technology in teaching and learning enriches engineeringcurricula. Most technological applications establish a, user-friendlyenvironment based, on a, graphical user interface. This study proposes the useof a, mechatronics experimental module based, on the graphical human interfacesystem,. This system, elucidates, for students, the principles, function and, application of mechatronics, and, also demonstrates the use of graphicalmonitoring and, control technology. Students can, in advance, design a,graphical monitor program, to monitor and, control module. Students learn, verify and, acquire lectured, concepts by performing mechatronics experiments inthe laboratory. The most important part of the system, is the implementation ofthe experimental module in laboratory sessions, using the graphical interfacetechnology. ICIC International
