Abstract

B2C e-commerce is becoming more widespread as more people come to recognize its convenience. Currently, many electronic marketplaces are in essence some kind of search engine and usually such e-marketplaces do not use agent technologies. In this paper, a multiple-attributes negotiation model for B2C e-commerce is proposed. This model deploys intelligent agents to facilitate autonomous and automatic online buying and selling by intelligent agents. These processes include information collecting, searching/offer gathering, negotiating, and evaluating, which incorporates with fuzzy theory and analytical hierarchy process to facilitate the user inputs his/her requirements. An example is illustrated to show the superiority of this approach.
