Analysis of slot-loaded end-coupled resonator CPW bandpass filters

Abstract

The slot-loaded end-coupled resonator CPW bandpass filters have been studied. Results show that by cutting proper number of transverse slots on different positions of the resonators can effectively shift the resonance frequency. It was also found that the interdigitated slot-loaded filter structure has more pronounced effect on resonance frequency due to its longer mode current path. The insertion loss, however, is seen to be less sensitive to the transverse slot.
