N2 - This paper presents the design of a full-band power amplifier (PA) for ultra wideband (UWB) application. This PA uses common-gate topology at the input stage to achieve a wideband input matching. Less than -11 dB SII over the entire bandwidth was obtained. A cascode stage and a Chevbyshev bandpass filter are designed for the output matching to increase the gain and gain flatness. An average power gain of 10dB for full-band is achieved. The attained Pout-1dB and power are 4 .58 dBm and 23.4 mW, respectively.
