N2 - This paper investigates a Gilbert-cell mixer which uses dynamic current technique and be designed in TSMC 0.18 μm process for WiMAX 3.4 ∼ 3.7 GHz. The important features of the mixer are high gain, low power consumption. Simulation result shows that the mixer achieved 11.5 ∼ 13.4 dB conversion gain, 6.9 ∼ 10.6 dB noise figure, with 2.38 mW power consumption for 1.2 V supply.
