本所成立於民國九十年八月一日,六年後成立博士班。本著「專業、熱忱、實在」的宗旨,奠定寬廣的學術基礎,培育人力資源管理學術與實務專業人才,主要的重點:    一、建構人力資源管理專業,掌握企業脈動    二、強調理論實務,使人才學以致用    三、因應國際化,致力培養國際人才    四、提供中部地區人力資源管理人員進修管道    五、重視生活教育,培養熱忱實在的態度   秉持著上述的宗旨,持續為台灣地區人力資源管理的學術研究、專業教育而努力;未來發展將致力於加強人力資源管理領域學術研究,擴增與企業界的合作關係並推展國際間學術交流。
